Why Canvasland
We repair what we make, and plenty we didn't. Because the same team stitches new work and repairs, we can tell you quickly whether the fabric has life left in it or whether you're better off re-covering. If the frame and fixings are sound, a re-cover is almost always cheaper than starting again — and on a tension canopy or shade sail, that's the whole point of the system.

Do you repair work you didn't make?
Yes — most of our repair work is on other people's product. Bring it in and we'll assess it the same way.
How much does a repair cost?
It depends entirely on the damage, which is why the assessment is free. Small seam and zip repairs are usually modest; a full re-cover is quoted like new work.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes — our repair workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months. Where we replace fabric or fittings, the new material carries its manufacturer's warranty, which we note on your quote.
Is it worth repairing or should I replace it?
That's exactly what the assessment answers. As a rule of thumb: if the fabric is still sound and the damage is localised, repair. If the fabric has gone brittle or chalky from UV, a re-cover will last far longer than a patch.
Can you re-skin a shade sail or canopy onto the existing frame?
Yes, and it's usually the smartest spend. If the frame, posts and fixings are sound, a new membrane or sail costs a fraction of a full replacement.
How long do repairs take?
Small repairs are often turned around in a few days. Re-makes and re-covers run to normal production lead times, and we'll tell you up front.
Do you come to site?
For fixed installations like shade sails, canopies and blinds, yes. Smaller items are quicker and cheaper if you can bring them to Levin.
