We assess sun angles, wind zone and fixing points, then give you a clear, fixed-price proposal.
Deposit locks it in
A 50% deposit secures the job and gets fixing points and posts installed.
Precise measure
With fixings in, we measure the exact installed points — not estimates — so the sail is drawn to match precisely.
Manufacture & fit
Your sail is cut and made by Sunshade in Hastings to those exact measurements, then brought back and tensioned into place.

How long does a shade sail last?
10 years on the fabric, 3 years on workmanship. With correct tensioning the fabric is the wear item and can be re-made while the fixings stay in place.
Are your sails waterproof?
Knitted shade cloth is for UV/shade; for rain protection we use a waterproof PVC membrane. We'll recommend the right one for your site.
Can you match our school or brand colours?
Yes — full custom colour range.
Do you handle the council/engineering side?
We design to wind-load and provide the specs; for larger structures we can arrange engineering sign-off.
Do you install, or just make?
Both. We measure, manufacture and install as one team.
